The Voice of Heating and Cooling Contractors in the Garden State
Who We Are
Garden State Heating Cooling Contractors Association (GSHCCA) is an organization formed by HVACR contractors for HVACR contractors. GSHCCA was organized by the Fuel Merchants Association of New Jersey (FMA). While FMA is known for representing oil heat dealers, the membership has diversified into HVACR contracting over the decades. We believe now is the time to provide the benefits of 84 years of experience in member benefits and advocacy to the entire HVACR industry through the GSHCCA.
Member Benefits
Advocacy
We have been involved with the HVACR licensing law since the early 1990s. That’s right—from the original draft legislation to the signed law in 2007, commenting on the initial regulations in 2012, through grandfathering in 2014, and today while attending the monthly meeting of the HVACR Board of Examiners, GSHCCA has been there and will continue to be. We are in the legislature, at the board, with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (code issues)—wherever licensed HVACR contractors have an interest, we will be there defending it.
Discount on CEUs
All licensed HVACR contractors are required to have 5 hours of CEUs prior to renewing their license at the end of the current licensing cycle (July 1, 2020). All members will receive a discount on CEUs.
Health Benefits
As a member you will have access to Association Master Trust (AMT), a one-of-a-kind solution for small business’ health benefits needs. AMT is a unique not-for-profit multi-association benefits trust formed to serve the group benefit needs of participating association employer members. Click here for more.
